Royden James (pictured) spent 35-years working in Local Government and upon retiring, set up home at Murchison with the view that such concerns were behind him.
However, the machinations of life, in this case, it was difficulties for the town’s D.P. Jones Nursing Home that drew him back onto the arena and now he has put his hand up for the October elections for the City of Greater Shepparton Council.
Royden is acutely conscious of the climate crisis and has been a long-time user of solar power, but is aware that for the council to take effective action, it needs to engage with people who understand the matter and who can articulate what needs to be done.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
