Kim O’Keeffe (pictured) sees Shepparton as being on the cusp of something great and is eager to again have a seat of the City of Greater Shepparton council table to play an active role in ensuring the greatness.
Kim was uncomfortable about declaring a climate emergency because of implications associated with the term “emergency”, but she is convinced the city, and the people who live here, need to pay close attention to the disruption humans are causing to Earth’s climate system.
Although this year’s council elections will be via postal vote, the date set for to poll is Saturday, October 24.
